Privacy Policy
Your cat’s audio stays on your device.
Nyangmal processes cat audio and care history on the user’s device whenever possible. Only the minimum anonymous usage, advertising, and purchase data described below is handled outside the device.
The short version
- Audio you record or select is analyzed on-device and is not sent to Nyangmal servers or analytics providers.
- Nyangmal has no account system. Cat names, interpretation history, and veterinary information are not included in anonymous analytics.
- Advertising providers and the Apps in Toss purchase system may process device, advertising, and order data needed to provide those features.
- Interpretations are probabilistic observations, not veterinary diagnoses.
1. Scope
This policy applies to the Nyangmal website and PWA, Android app, and Apps in Toss mini-app. Advertising and purchase features differ by platform.
2. Data we process and why

3. Microphone and audio
The microphone is used only after you press the record button and grant permission. Nyangmal does not listen continuously or record in the background. If you decline microphone access, you may select an audio file instead. Selected files are also analyzed locally rather than uploaded.
Nyangmal does not identify people or analyze human voices as biometric information.
4. Service providers and international processing
- PostHog: receives anonymous product events over HTTPS. We currently use its United States ingestion endpoint and send events with person-profile creation disabled. PostHog privacy information
- Google: AdSense, AdMob, and Google Play may process information for advertising, fraud prevention, and platform operations. Google Privacy Policy
- Viva Republica: operates the Apps in Toss platform, advertising, and one-time in-app purchases. Toss Privacy Policy
These providers may process data in countries where their service infrastructure operates. Their own policies describe their locations and safeguards.
5. Retention and deletion
- Local records are removed when you use “Reset all data” or clear app or browser data. A separate copy may remain if your operating system or browser backup is enabled.
- Raw audio is used only in device memory while analysis runs and is not retained by the app afterward.
- Anonymous usage events remain in the PostHog project while needed for product improvement, security, and abuse analysis, and are then deleted or aggregated.
- Purchase and refund records may be retained by the relevant platform and by the operator for transaction processing and legally required periods.
- Support email is deleted when it is no longer needed after the request and any dispute are resolved.
6. Safeguards and your choices
External communications use HTTPS, and analytics are restricted to an allowlist of properties. Raw audio and cat names are excluded from analytics events. When Global Privacy Control is enabled, Nyangmal does not request ads on web guide pages.
You can change microphone permission and ad personalization in your device, browser, or platform settings. You can reset local records in app settings. Send privacy or deletion requests to help@neogenesis.app. Because there is no account, we may be unable to locate an anonymous event that cannot be linked back to you.
7. Children
Nyangmal is not designed primarily for children under 13 and does not intentionally collect a child’s name or contact details. Contact us if you believe a child’s information was submitted.
8. Changes and contact
